We’re honored to collaborate with Larissa Crane, a trauma-informed therapist, educator, and advocate who brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work supporting women through life’s most challenging transitions. Specializing in PTSD, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, and the complex emotional toll of navigating the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court system, Larissa integrates evidence-based approaches such as CBT, EMDR, and Internal Family Systems Therapy with mindfulness practices, meditation, and yoga.
Through our Jane Cares initiative and additional programs, Larissa offers therapeutic insight and compassionate support to our members, many of whom are navigating high-conflict divorces or recovering from coercive control. She is also a powerful voice in the movement to educate and protect women in family court, contributing thoughtful articles and resources to help survivors understand their rights and reclaim their sense of agency. Her integrative approach—rooted in both clinical training and personal healing—resonates deeply with our mission to empower women to move forward with strength, clarity, and connection.
Dr. Dena Ray, Clinical Psychologist
Â
“Support groups offered by Jane Does Well provide a vital service to women facing the overwhelming challenges of divorce. These groups serve as essential forums for women to voice and process their feelings. They are highly informative, allowing participants at various stages of divorce to share concrete information, advice, and emotional support drawn from personal experiences.
Led by professional therapists, these groups facilitate discussions and offer clinical expertise when necessary. Their women-centered approach, combined with a drop-in format, enables participants—often stretched thin—to attend spontaneously for even a portion of a session at their convenience. The benefits of these support groups are unparalleled.
They provide a profound service to vulnerable women navigating one of life’s most difficult transitions. I cannot speak highly enough about the positive impact they have on those enduring such challenging experiences.”— Dena Ray, PhD, Clinical Psychologist, 2025
