Would you like to be intentional about welcoming in the New Year by setting personal goals that will help you have the best 2022 possible? Would you like some support and encouragement from your Jane Does Well sisters as you think about your hopes and dreams for the coming year? Join us as we explore ways to establish New Year goals that are both empowering and manageable. Each of us will then create our own vision board incorporating these goals. We will use our boards for inspiration throughout the year. Let’s help each other get 2022 off to the best start possible!
This workshop will meet on January 6th from 7:00-9:00 pm
Preparing for the Workshop:
We encourage you to begin gathering supplies for your vision board now. If this is your first one, a quick web search will give you plenty of ideas for what you might want. While every vision board is unique, they all include a combination of words and images that will represent your goals and intentions. Here are some suggested vision board supplies:
· A poster board or large piece of sturdy paper. This will serve as your base for the board itself.
· Glue and/or tape
· Scissors
· Markers, pens, highlighters, paint—whatever you love to write and draw with.
· Rulers and stencils for those of you who love a straight line.
· Magazines you can cut up. These are great for finding words and images!
· Images and quotes from the internet you may want to print off.

The People We Keep is about a young songwriter longing to find a home in the world.
Little River, New York, 1994: April Sawicki is living in a motorless motorhome that her father won in a poker game. Failing out of school, picking up shifts at Margo’s diner, she’s left fending for herself in a town where she’s never quite felt at home. When she “borrows” her neighbor’s car to perform at an open mic night, she realizes her life could be much bigger than where she came from. After a fight with her dad, April packs her stuff and leaves for good, setting off on a journey to find a life that’s all hers.
As April moves through the world, meeting people who feel like home, she chronicles her life in the songs she writes and discovers that where she came from doesn’t dictate who she has to be.
This lyrical, unflinching tale is for anyone who has ever yearned for the fierce power of found family or to grasp the profound beauty of choosing to belong.

You and your dog are invited to join Diane Anderson and her dog, Callie, for a walk in Wellesley. We will meet at Diane's house and go for a brisk hour-long walk on a beautiful trail through the woods to the pond. We ask that all dogs who attend be comfortable with other dogs and stay on leash. This support group is for women who have completed their divorces and are transitioning to new lives as single women. Although it is up to the individual to discern if her divorce qualifies as traumatic, traumatic divorces typically include one or more of the 4 A’s - Abuse (physical, emotional or financial), Addiction, Affair or Abandonment. Members will meet weekly to share their experiences in a safe space that offers validation, compassion and confidentiality. The group will also discuss chapters from the newly released book, Light on the Other Side of Divorce: Discovering the New You, by Dr. Elizabeth Cohen.
*Although this group offers emotional support, it is not meant to take the place of therapy.
Diane Anderson is the Director of Wellness for JDW. She is an ordained UCC pastor, having earned her MDiv. degree at Andover Newton Theological School and is also certified in Spiritual Direction from Boston College and Positive Psychology from The Kripalu Center on Lenox, MA. Do you feel that you may be divorcing or have divorced a spouse on the narcissism spectrum? Do you feel that you have been on the receiving end of bullying, gaslighting and betrayal? Join us as we explore the traits of narcissism and how dealing with a narcissistic spouse can impact women during the divorce process. We will also discover techniques that can help women survive and heal from narcissistic abuse. We will be using two books in this workshop: Will I Ever Be Free of You? by Karyl McBride, Ph.D. and The Narcissism Recovery Journal, by Cynthia Eddings, LMFT
