This support group is for women who have completed their divorces and are transitioning to new lives as single women. Although it is up to the individual to discern if her divorce qualifies as traumatic, traumatic divorces typically include one or more of the 4 A’s – Abuse (physical, emotional or financial), Addiction, Affair or Abandonment. Members will meet weekly to share their experiences in a safe space that offers validation, compassion and confidentiality. The group will also discuss chapters from the newly released book, Light on the Other Side of Divorce: Discovering the New You, by Dr. Elizabeth Cohen.
*Although this group offers emotional support, it is not meant to take the place of therapy.
