toThis support group is for women who are in the midst of traumatic divorces. Although, it is up to the individual to discern if her divorce qualifies as traumatic, divorces of a traumatic nature typically include one or more of the 4 A’s - Abuse (physical, emotional or financial), Addiction, Affairs, Abandonment. Members will meet weekly to share their experiences in a safe space that offers validation, compassion and confidentiality. The group will also be doing exercises in the book Self-Love Workbook for Women: Release Self-Doubt, Build Self-Compassion, and Embrace Who You Are, by Megan Logan, MSW, LCSW
*Although this group offers emotional support, it is not meant to take the place of therapy.
