Although, it is up to the individual to discern if her divorce qualifies as traumatic, divorces of a traumatic nature typically include one or more of the 4 A’s – Abuse (physical, emotional or financial), Addiction, Affairs, Abandonment. Members will meet weekly to share their experiences in a safe space that offers validation, compassion and confidentiality. The group will also be doing exercises in the book Self-Love Workbook for Women: Release Self-Doubt, Build Self-Compassion, and Embrace Who You Are, by Megan Logan, MSW, LCSW
*Although this group offers emotional support, it is not meant to take the place of therapy.
