POST-Divorce Dinner Social Group

for Moms of Young Adults Who Are 21+ Years of Age

This dinner social group is for women who have completed their divorces (or are entering the final stages of the legal process) and are transitioning to new lives as single moms of adult children 21 years of age and older.

1st Friday of the month from 7–9 p.m. (3 meetings total)

Friday, November 3  in Wellesley

Friday, December 1  in Framingham

Friday,    January 5 in  Natick

Over dinner, we will share our unique experiences, challenges, and concerns as single moms of adult children:

-managing their emotions and opinions as they adjust to the loss of their family unit-managing the ways in which their attitudes, words, and choices impact us as divorced single moms

-navigating holidays, milestones, and special family events with and without their father’s involvement

-understanding how the relationship dynamic with their father differs from the one that they have with you (different standards for different parents)

-considering the potential impact that their parents’ marriage could have or is having on their own adult relationships with partners
